The electro-magnetic (EM) spectrum is a form of radiative energy. Our eyes perceive a small part of this spectrum as light. Going from longest wavelength to shortest wavelength the spectrum is:

  • Radio
  • Microwave
  • Infra-red
  • Visible light
  • Ultra-violet
  • X-ray
  • Gamma-ray
